My Story

For years I tried to figure out how affiliate marketing worked. It felt like all the content I would read or watch videos about was not really showing me how to do it. Sign up to be an affiliate on this website or that website and Bada Bing Bada boom! Right? Not so much.

Not only that, but the terms 'marketing' and 'advertising' were not of interest to me. I thought negatively of the terms because of commercials; I didn't like them very much.

Yes, you can scroll to the bottom of many business pages and see if they have an affiliate program for you to join, but chances are they are going to ask if you have a website. Not all of them, but most of them; at least in my experience.

The thing is, I did have a website, but it was for me and my art journey. That was not going to be feasible for all types of content. In addition, I hated ads that would interrupt me during my own browsing time unless it was specific to what I was already searching for. Even then, there were still unrelated ads that appeared.

You have probably noticed that some pages are loaded with tacking-looking ads and pop-ups. Those types of structures really deter me personally from staying on a site for any length of time. That’s why I have created categories of the various niches that I am interested in. I may use(d) the product, I might want to product, or I think the promotion of a specific item is executed well. So, I decided to promote them in my own way. (I also had a second site to use in my portfolio. Remember that your portfolio is your resume in other worlds of industry. Artwork Portfolio, Graphic Design Portfolio, Financial Portfolio, etc.)

So, my niche was art, but I had many niches. I just wanted to know about everything and looked for a variety of topics every time I was on the computer. Then one day, everything sort of connected.

Affiliate marketing will require you to put in the work. You will have to know your way around a computer and how linking HTML and product destinations operate to start your passive income journey. So no, it’s not a one-size-fits-all. If you learn best by yourself then you will figure it out, but if not, I have decided to create this site to help a little bit more. I hope.
